Fairy Jars

One of my grand daughters is turning ten this coming week.  Her birthday theme is fairy garden so I thought I would make her these two little fairy jars for her gift. 
I got lucky and was in our local Bi-Mart while they were putting out the gardening supplies.  I found these adorable mason jars that were already frosted and just happened to have a solar panel built into the lid to light them.  So, all I had to do was add the fairies and the flowers and butterflies and this is how they turned out.  TFL

New Dearie Dolls 12 Days of Christmas

Yay!!!  I am finally finished with the Dearie Dolls SVG's!  Not going to lie, they are way labor intensive if you want to do them in color, but super simple if you just do solid colors!  So excited to finally have them done!  Thanks again to Mary Ellen from Dearie Dolls Digi Stamps for trusting me enough to make and sell her 12 Days of Christmas Digi Stamps!  I love how whimsical they are and best of all, THEY'RE SNOWMAN!!!! :)  You can find them here: http://blingology.blogspot.com/p/christmas.html    TFL

I'm Lovin' It!

My daughter is a Crew Trainer at McDonalds and she was feeling a lil festive and wanted to paint her nails specifically in red and yellow colors for work...me, being the crafty vinyl woman that I am got a brilliant idea to make the golden arches and a little box of fries to go on top of them!  This was the result!  I think they turned out cute and all of her coworkers and customers commented on how cool they thought her nails were! :)  TFL

Chicken, Pork & Beef Rubs

My daughter in law and I decided to put together some Chicken, Pork and Beef rubs to give as gifts for the Christmas season.  We did this because there is always that someone that you really want to know that you are thinking about them, but don't always have alot of money to spend.  We made these very economical and very practical gifts to give because who doesn't love to cook or eat?  We started out with the 3 oz square containers from Dollar Tree and then went to Winco to buy the bulk spices!  I of course added the vinyl of a cow, pig and chicken (rooster) to the containers and filled them with the rubs we made (You can find the recipes here), stacked them in cute little threes and then tied them together them with some pretty glittered ribbon.  We will add Christmas tags to them before giving them away!  What a useful, quick and easy gift to give that favorite someone.  If you want to expand on the idea, you could always give a gift card, to the person, for their favorite meat store.  TFL

Nameplate Wall Plaques

Made up these two little wall plaques for my Grand kids to decorate their new rooms.  Their bed frames are black as is the dresser, so wanted to make the plaques black as well and just added the color into the names and decorations on them.  I actually like how they turned out.  TFL

Vinyled Rain Boots

My grand daughers,  aged 5, 6 and 8 came from Corvaliis Oregon to spend the weekend at Grammy's house.  They of course brought their clothes and shoes and an extra pair of purple rain boots that they thought were just too plain and needed some "grammy love" added to them.  Gia picked out the color for them and said she wanted them flowered up!  This was the result!  Though the lighting made them look not so purple, they are actually a very deep purple and the flowers are lilac. Thanks for looking! :)

Snowman Muffin Tin

I love the beautiful red background and snowmen that are hand painted onto an old muffin tin, they are gorgeous!  But, I love vinyl and I wanted my snowmen to have a blue background to get a colder feel...snowmen and blue represent cold to me lol.   Thank God for the dollar store!  I painted the blue and white and then sprayed it all with a varnish so it will hold up, if I choose to hang it outside, then added the vinyl faces, lettering and snowflakes.  This is my version of the muffin tin snowman with vinyled instead of hand painted faces. TFL

Happy Hallo-Scream

This is probably one of my favorite new files in the Halloween section.  I saw a sign in a store that just simply said, "Happy Hallo-Scream" and I thought cute, but so plain!  Immediately my brain was reeling with the possibilities of what I could do, so I went home and set to work!  This is the results.  It's a devilish little

Business Decals

Recently cut some custom decals for a friend of mine. Tried to convince him to let me put a little more realistic and not so cartoonish looking man inside a whirlwind dust storm, but he wanted it to be exactly like the logo on his business cards.  So this was the result, the logos are on both sides of the van.  He was pleased as punch and now wants me to make 4 magnet logos for their vehicles.  YAY! lol :)  TFL

Wedding Plate and Keepsake Tag

I did this wedding plate as a gift for a same-sex couple.  I was really kinda bummed out because I didn't have my SCAL to work with, so I did the best I could using only my cricut cartridges.  I guess it turned out ok.  I was feeling crafty and decided that I wanted to make a decorative keepsake tag to put on the package as well.  Their colors were black, red and yellow, but I decided just to follow a black and white theme throughout.    Below are the results.  TFL

Valentine & More monster High

Made this quick little valentine for my grandson's little girlfriend who loves Hello Kitty, I think it turned out really cute and he is so excited to give it to her.

Dog Treat Jar

I originally bought this jar for my ex husband because he has a huge stash of candy that he always has on hand for the grand kids, but has nothing to keep it in. I was going to vinyl it up with some little saying about Poppa's treats, but then he calls me and says that he bought a jar to keep his candies in.. .I was like..oh you did? lol and turns out it is idential to the jar I got...sooooo I thought ok, I'll just vinyl it for his dog instead as he keeps almost as many treats on hand for her as he does the grands! Anyway this is how it turned out. tfl.

Vinyled Shoes

My 5 and 6 year old granddaughters wear exactly the same size shoe and both had to have the very same shoe for school. No matter how much I tried to get one of them to get a different shoe or even the same shoe in a different color, it wasn't happening...Grammy to the rescue again, vinyled names on them so they can at least tell them apart!!  TFL

Good Friend

My friend turned 61 today, I taught both of her children when they were in preschool and I babysat for her off and on throughout the years. Now her children are adults with children of their own! Throughout the years we have lost each other for short periods of time as our lives played out but we always seem to find one another again through all the moves and changes in our own lives. She has some very serious medical conditions that keep her house bound so she lives for coffee and friends who drop by on occassion. I used my "Good Friend" File to make her this birthday present and dropped by to visit for a bit today! :) TFL

More Christmas Projects

There are just a few of the projects I worked on today in between wrapping presents and making Christmas candies! 
The Mug images are two different logos from the video game Black Ops, which my nephews are totally enthralled with.
The Gourmet Doggie treats (which contain no chocolate) are for some sweet little doggies that belong to some family members. I was going to staple them on to the ziplock, but decided to use some mini brads to hold them on instead, that way their owners can easily remove the bone insignia's and use then for a scrapbook or keepsake without damaging them.  The sign is done in aunt Valerie's favorite color - purple~! :)  TFL

KCC Mug

Did a Dollar store mug for Uncle Randy for Christmas.  He is a big Kansas City fan.  Hope he likes it! :)  TFL

Chicken Cross Stitch

Here is a picture of the "Early to Rise" cross stitch picture I did for my boyfriend's mom for Christmas.  She collects roosters and has them all over her house.  Thought this would be a nice addition to her collection.  Sorry about the glare on the glass.   TFL

More Christmas Presents

I love making these signs.  They make wonderful gifts.  The tile was my first try at splitting a font.  I watched Denise's from Paper Pastime's tutorial on the Smartbuygal forum.  She does a wonderful job at explaining how to achieve this effect.  In fact she explains it step by step so there is no mistaking what you need to do next!  This one is for my nephew and his family.  I know you can't see it in the photo but there is a halo over Renae as she passed away when she was a baby.  The halo I did in black as well but it has irridescent stickles on it.

The other two are both for Christmas as well.  One is for my boyfriends oldest daughter and the other is for his cousin who is an avid wine connoisseur.  I just really liked the the saying, though I am not a drinker...it struck me as funny :)  TLF
