Nurses Week Card
Nurses day is coming up and one of my clients asked me to make a card for the nurse at her school. This is what I came up with. The Nurse hat shape came from Cricut Critter Scrapping Heaven and the Syringe came from Cre8ive Cuts. I initially cut the hat shape card out but it didn't match up no matter how much I tried and trimmed. I think what may have happened is that the creator forgot to flip one of the hat shapes so that they would match up when folded...but I was able to take the top cut and flip it to make my own card shape from that. The syring base is actually silver irridescent paper from Crayola...but when I used the flash, I got this rainbow of colors. TFL

Spring, Easter Cake
Ok, so my grandaughters and I were surfing the web to find a fun easter cake for them to attempt when we came across the Spring cake with the easter peeps. They fell in love with it and so today grammy supervised as my 3, 4 and 6 year old grandaughters made the cake and waited for it to cool. Then their brother, 9, frosted it and placed the peep chicks in their rightful places. The girls then took over to finish the center of the flower by sprinkling mini chocolate chips in for the seeds. They made the entire cake, start to finish....not bad for their first try :) TFL

62 New Designs Uploaded
62 New files have been uploaded to Creative Bling Vinyl Designs, if you are interested.
Sadly the program I am currently using does not allow for the new files to be shown on the first page, but if you will look at where the page numbers are above the files, click the word Grid, then click on 30 to show 30 files per page, the New files begin on Page 8, beginning with the Bunny Boo file.
I apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you. I have written to the developers to inquire about this problem and the fact that there are no page numbers at the bottom of the page to go on to the next page without having to scroll back up to the top of the page.
Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any problems ordering.

No Sew Tutu Dress
I was on youtube looking for a video regarding tutu purses, when I happened to find a video about making a no sew tutu dress. I watched the vids, thought they looked pretty darn easy and decided I wanted to make these for my four granddaughters and my little great niece for Easter instead. It took me about an hour and a half from start to finish, super easy, rather fun and I think it turned out pretty cute if I do say so my self..TFL The dress in this pic is for a 9 month old. Will post the others as I find time to get them completed.
had time to make one more tonight....two down, three to go! :)
This one reminded me of an easter egg. Hate that the flash washes out the colors but in person it's a light turquoise and sky blue. Probably my favorite one so far.

Birthday Card
My boyfriend's Grandmother is turning 90 on the 14th, so the whole family is getting together this weekend (Saturday) to have a barbeque to celebrate her milestone. She is just the cutest sassiest little lady! When I reach 90, I hope I have the same sort of loving personality that she has! Love you Grandma!
front of card using glitter cardstock, rubber stamp by Studio 112, I made the flower with the Heartfelt Spellbinders flower die using glossy photo paper then used the Tim Holtz alcohol inks to color it and a Studio 112 Pearl Gem for the center. The happy birthday stamp is popped up away from the base. so it didn't mess with the Rickrack, I finished it off with some irridescent adhesive crystals.
The inside sentiment!

Bath Time Finger Paints
Two of my Grandchildren have birthdays tomorrow and I found this really neat idea for bath time finger paints that I have been wanting to try out. What better reason than to be part of a birthday present! :) The recipe was super simple all it takes is 1/3 cup of liquid soap, 1 tablespoon of corn starch and a few drops of food coloring. I used a clear shampoo instead of liquid soap and it turned out really well with some nice vivid colors. Upon stirring it together, the mixture had a very gelatinous consistency and to be honest, I wanted to go play with it lol...guess I will have to wait to see how the kids like it! :) I found these really cute lil containers with snap lids at the dollar store. They came in a pack of three and miraculously held exactly 1/3 cup of the mix. I thought about putting some cute vinyl embellishments on them, but thought it probably wouldn't last long in a bath!
