Candy Jars

Made these for an upcoming craftshow, thought the devil one's might make a nice guy gift. Will fill them with Hot Tamales and Red Hots, will probably fill the rose heart with candy hearts.

In case you can't read them, the sayings on the backs of the two smaller jars say, "You bring out the DEVIL in me!" and "Love is in bloom". TFL

Windchimes

A friend of mine used to make these windchimes years ago out of kitchen utensils. I always loved how simple they looked and the sound was always very pretty so I tried to make my own version...trust me bending metal is not the easiest thing in the world to do...whew!!! Anyway, this is my version, I am not quite finished, I think I will vinyl them up with some red hearts and swirls and give them away for a valentine present. tfl

Valentine Hershey Bars

Bryan over at" Scrapguy's Paper Crafting Adventures" was recently featured on "Everyday Cricut" with these super easy and very adorable chocolate bars. This is my version of the Hershey bars, it was fun, easy and best of all FAST! :) TLF

Kitchen Oil Bottles

Here are a few more oil bottles that I did for a craft show. They are kind of hard to see since they have pics on both sides, the first one is done with my bountiful fruit svg, second one just a simple layered sunflower that I got from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. I didn't have two different yellows so I used gold for the bottom petals and yellow on top, I kinda like how it turned out. Last one is just a design that I made to wrap around the entire bottle. It is made from just one small flourish that is welded 48 times to make the design. It left these nice little spaces in-between so I just cut some simple flowers from the "Saru's flowers" dingbat and place them in the middle, I think this one is my favorite so far! TFL

Layered Barn Stars

Denise Hill had these super cute barn stars on her blog PaperPastime. She also has a video how to that makes it super simple to recreate them yourself! My Daughter in Law loves barn stars, so I knew I had to try these out. Here is my layered version in valentine colors. I used the Core Couture high fashion cardstock from Coordination for this project. TFL

Pay it forward Blog Candy

I recently did a "Pay it forward" on facebook, where the first 5 people who responded to my post would recieve a hand made item made just for them, except I did 7 people, and the above pics are the items I made for them...some of the pics aren't so great...sorry. Anyway, now I would like to do a pay it forward here on my blog. I will choose ten random winners (using Random.org) to recieve a free svg of your choice from either of my blogstores. Feel free to post a link to this "blog candy" giveaway. All you have to do is leave a comment and leave me a 2way to get ahold of you. This will remain open for the next week + a few days,. I will draw the winners on February 1st, best of luck to you all! :) TLF

Gift Sets

4 of my friends work for the State of Idaho and I suprised them each with a gift set of a note pad, a personalized coffee mug and hand sanitizer, the girls are at the front desk while the guys have their own offices, so I included waste baskets with theirs. The guys are huge BSU and Green Bay fans, the girls...well they are just girly girls so I thought flowers and swirls were appropriate for their gifts! Not sure why the letting didn't show on the pink note set, but it is a much darker color than the paper behind it :) TFL

Cute little Tree Pie box

I own a jewelry store called "Blingology" and I made a couple of these little trees for my two best friends and filled them with some super sparkly jewelry from my shop, to hang on their trees. The pie box svg came from "My Cricut Scrapbooking.com" and for the scallops, I just welded a long, thin rectangle with ovals for the scallops. After cutting the scallops out, you just start layering colors from the bottom to the top. I think next time I will arrange them so that the scallops on top sit in the middle of the previous row of scallops...just trim so that the scallops are flush with the edge of the box, fold your box, punch a hole in the top and add ribbon to hang. Hunting Coffee Cup

I did this coffee mug for my ex hubby for Christmas, I also filled the Toffee Cappuccino containers shown in an earlier post with the Toffee Cappuccino mix I make and gave it to him...yes, I know it is a foreign concept for many that I would give my ex presents still...but we are still best friends, we have kids and grandkids together and we still celebrate all our holidays together with our children and their families and we still exchange gifts with each other. Sometimes people can love and respect one another, they just can't coincide in the same house together! :) lol TFL

Live to Rope Mug

Made this mug for my son who does team roping. It says "Live to Rope" on the bottom. TFL

Chai Tea Latte & Mug

I made these for my son-in-law for Christmas as he loves tea. The symbol on the mug is made from a medicine vial, and a medicine pestal & motar turned sideways. He is a pharmacology student. TFL

Oil Bottle

I did this one for my roommate, as she fell in love with my oil bottle that I have used forever. She said she wanted one for her own kitchen as she will be joining households with her boyfriend in August. It is hard to see, but it says "Annie's Kitchen" on it with the grape leaf cluster on each side. TFL

This is a super simple little wreath that I made for the front of our house this year. My kids used to make them when they were little and all it takes is a wire coat hanger, shaped into a circle, two boxes of 50 ct. sandwich bags (the fold over kind, not zip) a few picks of your choice and some ribbon. This could be done up very cutely for any holiday, valentines or easter would be super cute! TFL
